Stand work

The items I used in the stand work board below reflect the aesthetics of my concept boards. I used multiple items to reflect different sides of the diva alter ego, the lace reflected sexiness, the zebra print blouse reflected boldness and the pink reflects playfulness. I also used a variety of fabric types to experiment with silhouettes which the images ended up becoming very successful as shown below. I used a pink cotton shirt to help me develop some structure on the mannequin, the print silk blouse created interesting shapes and gave me the ability to see how print can look on different areas of the body. The lace palette provided me texture and the zip I added ono the mannequin gave me ideas for functionality with certain designs.
